I was able to purchase 5 factory Ford cab clearances lights, brand new take-offs with the harness for $30.00.
The only issue is that the harness does not include the end plug that would plug in behind the passenger kick panel.
They cut the harness before it goes down the A Pillar so that they can keep the factory plug with the new stuff they were installing.
Would anyone know what type of end I would need to plug in like the factory setup or where is the best place for me to tie in if I don't use the factory plug?
Or hook up power wire to a switch so you can run the roof clearance lights whenever you want, like daytime running lights, regardless if you have parking/headlights on.
Me and a buddy done this at his shop together. My dealer ordered the lights for me when I bought the truck free of charge and we installed them. Give me a ring 3373492174 and I can further explain. We tapped into the front headlight and just ran the wires as it was easiest. No harness interior though. We got measurements from truck on the lot which are located at his shop currently. My buddy can do it, give me a ring. We located in Louisiana the holes needed to mount are square and must be perfectly lined up or lights will be off. He also made templets of lights saved on the shop computer
