I have a 2014 f250 ccsb. I have bought a oem cab light kit off of eBay. The wiring harness that came with kit is for an older truck and want work .my question is does anyone know if I can pull the wire pins out of wiring harness and put into a plug that's on truck ? If so which plug ? My lights are mounted but interior is in pieces and I have to get back on the job tomorrow , Thanks in Advance
I ordered mine that came with the correct harness. It makes it much easier. The harness also runs the wires for the air bags in the pillars, so you should be carefully about cutting or splicing anything.
Once you get the correct harness, everything will plug in without having to cut or splice.

Yea , the only wire that would get spliced or piggybacked would be the hot wire to lights . The other wire just gets grounded . The wiring harness that's there now would remain because of air bags and sat antenna. The correct harness is $80 from local dealership was trying to avoid that
Is there an open connector in the pillar? It would seem an easy thing to identify an unused wire that gets 12VDC when the lights are turned on. Alternatively, you could connect to an up fitter switch.

I really wanted it to look like it came from factory so I guess I will be ordering correct harness
