Heater control will not adjust, the one in the middle. I can turn the **** up and down, but it doesn't affect how much heat the heater is putting out. The other two ***** work correctly. Do I have a bad switch or is the blender valve sticking? How can I tell? '99 F350, 1.25M miles.
My 02 Excursion rear heat did that when I got her. The motor on the rear blend door was bad. Replaced it and made sure the door wasn't sticking and all is well.
Have you felt the heater hose? That was one of my troubleshooting steps for the rear system, but you can get to the front heater hoses under the hood.
I don't know if you can reach/feel the in-cab hoses, but if so...
I also had my daughter turn the control while I listened closely where the blend door was located to see if it was actuating. Mine wasn't.
