ND,could you please give me the part number for a two grove top pulley on a 360 engine for a 1973 F-100.I am trying to get everything together to convert from manual steering to power.I have the bottom crank pulley.Does anyone have one they would like to part with?
Are you talking about the pulley for the water pump? If so, it doesn't use a two groove for the power steering, it's just a single groove.
The belt for the power steering pump just goes from the crank pulley to the power steering pump.
Here's a picture of my '73 before I tore it down.
EDIT: Does your truck have factory A/C? If so, it uses a three groove pulley, 1 for the alternator, 1 for the A/C compressor and one for the power steering pump. The second picture is how that set up looks (an after picture of the engine in the first picture).

What is a top pulley? If it's the waterpump pulley, it could have 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 sheaves (pulley grooves) depending on 2WD or 4WD, with or without P/S or factory A/C and...
Additional BS may be required, once I know the answers.
Yes,it is the water pump pulley I was talking about and Mike got me straightened out.My truck does not have factory air.I have a crank pulley that has three groves.Mike,is that a new pump?I have a used one but would like to start with a new.I have a rebuilt steering gear box. Thanks Mike and ND for help.

The pump isn't new, it's a NAPA rebuilt along with a Red Head rebuilt steering gear.
Mike, would you have the part numbers for your pump and hoses?Your engine looks very nice.Did your truck have factory power steering or did you change over?

Thanks.
Yeah, it came with power steering, I'm adding the factory air though (cab swap).
I don't have the numbers handy but I've saved just about all the receipts for the ol' girl. I'll sort through them and see if I can find the P/N's for you.

It looks like NAPA doesn't have the rebuilt pump anymore, at least I couldn't find it.
They do show a new pump though, for $236.99, it also says "out of stock" . https://www.napaonline.com/napa/en/p...609_0194652317
Mike, the long line with all the curves for cooling have a one screw clamp.Does this clamp with screw mount through a hole in the frame rail?I am real curious if my frame rail already has a hole for the clamp to mount?

Yes, it mounts with one screw. Your frame should already have the hole for the bracket.
Note: in the second picture, the bracket is installed backwards , that's been corrected.
ND,there is a mounting bracket that holds power steering cooling line up against the frame.I am missing that part.Do you have the part # for that piece?
That bracket might not of been available separately from the cooler. The cooler and return line (3A713) were an assembly.
Here's the illustration from the parts catalog. You can see they break out the bracket from the cooler assembly, but there isn't a separate basic part number shown.
Well,I lucked out.I checked my parts I have for the change over and that line has the bracket with the screw on it.I think your right Mike I think that came as one assembly.I am trying to keep the upgrade to look like it was factory installed.L noticed NPD has the line listed even in stainless.I don't know if the bracket comes with it.

Good.
The bracket doesn't come with the stainless cooler. That's what I've got. Mine came from Inline Tube and came without the bracket.
