Hi all, just want to start by saying this is a great site. This is my first time posting but I have received a lot of help reading through others threads. It is time for me to replace the oil cooler in my '06 f350. While I am in there I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on any other parts I should look at replacing. I recently bought the AE software and my number 5 and 7 injectors are not buzzing so I will be addressing those as well. I also am having a hard start issue lately, it seems my HPOP is taking a while to build up the necessary pressure. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
One caveat. Be very careful putting the new standpipes in. I put new ones in, 50 miles later an o ring on the new one blew out. The only thing I can think of is that I must have nicked an o ring on install. Grease 'em up good.
The new ones have a Teflon ring on them to prevent the o-ring from moving, install new complete units. They are cheap, about $100 for the whole she-bang! Oil them good as you slide them in... no issues.
Thanks 53jimc and WatsonR, this is just the kind of info I was hoping for. I am wondering if the standpipes are leaking is causing my hard start condition.
I just ordered the standpipes and plugs, along with the new stc fitting. STC kit also includes the IPR screen and seals. I ordered from Swag Performance, 176.00 for both kits. What do you think about replacing the seals on the nipple plugs? Seems like cheap insurance while I am in there. I am intending on pulling the injectors and replacing the seals and copper washers.
Here's a thread I did on re-sealing injectors, with pictures and part numbers. Has the nipple cup o-rings and tool included and how to do them... very easy job! https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ed-for-it.html
I will be cleaning the turbo, is there anything in there you would recommend replacing? I am having no problems with it, just another one of those "while I am in there"

Thanks Ryan, looks interesting. I am wondering about possible over boost, I believe I have the stock head bolts, I won't know for sure until I pull the covers.
