At least for now was at my dealer yesterday and he showed me his weekly constraints update from Ford and this is the following as of December 12 any trucks ordered after this date will no get picked up for scheduling
-no 450 pickups till further notice.
-no plain aluminium 17"18"20" rims (suggests ordering with chrome package)
-no adaptive steering or cruise
-no tow camera package
Any trucks oredered with any of the above can expect an additional 12 week delay other than 450 just says till further notice
This is in Canada not sure about the states
Just finished plowing my salesmans house he's the one that gave me the info
He thinks it's the same for USA as Canada he will double check Monday
I will take a picture of letter on Monday
The delays are also diesel related to the above listed issues....found out yesterday that my new order to replace the one I had ordered in April 16' that was stopped at the plant isn't expected to ship/be built until march/April 17'
Can you provide more data? Source of "diesel related" issues? What is the nature of the problem? Thanks.
i ordered a fully loaded platinum 6.7 on April 30th of this year. It was built on oct 18th and then delayed at the body shop till two weeks ago the dealer and the dealers ford rep confirmed that it has a "stop ship" placed on it due to a faulty engine. No details past that on what is wrong but it is waiting for a new enigine currently. To speed things up the dealer out an order for the exact same truck last Thursday to attempt to have it built in January. I got a voicemail yesterday explaining what I wrote above. I have not called them back as now I don't know what to do anymore.
needed this truck this fall, was told when I ordered it that I would get it in the fall, and for sure before winter....
