... Those come out every week and are to advise dealers to avoid certain options on stock order trucks as retails will take priority with them. They certainly won't add much if any wait on a retail order....
Lastly, he's been seeing an average of 10 weeks on all SD pickup retail orders. Yes, there are exceptions but he does a lot of these and that's the usual ..
So, will my priority 10 order be slower? (I thought priority 10 was high, but considered a stock order.)
So, on top of Frantz chiming in (thanks much!), I just got back from my dealer. Here's some great info from the owner who sat down with me for a very unrushed 45 minute conversation. (He's a rare breed for a high volume dealer...) Anyways, starting with the new list of constraints. Second is about the fleet sites that I posted like Donlen and ARI. While they tend to have be fairly accurate for Fleet orders, Fleet orders by nature have very little to do with retail orders. (Completely different process that takes longer and you actually choose your delivery week when ordering.) So, using the fleets sites to estimate lead times on retail orders would be more than a little inaccurate.

I hope this helps quell the fears of some like myself who are about to order.
Thanks Great info i did not start this thread to ruffle any feathers just for info
to Frantz my comment was not to offend you just not nice to be stereotyped
Bill, retail is priority 10-19. Stock is 20+. You're good to go.
Glad to hear it. It's only been 10 days since I ordered it, but somehow thought the order would have shown up on Ford Custom Order Tracking | ordertracking.ford.com already. I'll probably feel better when I see it there.
ARI's update is from 11/3/16
Donlen's update is from 10/28/16
I believe both of those sites are geared towards fleet ordering. I used their information to time when I ordered my truck since I wanted to take delivery in January (would have saved me a ton in personal property taxes for 2017). And their estimates were dead on 2 years ago when we ordered a Fusion.
My dealership, trying their best to take care of us, put the order in with a priority code of 19. Not the highest, but I don't believe fleet orders get priority codes that high. My truck was on the dealers lot exactly 7 weeks to the day after I ordered it and I picked it up the next day after the spray-in bed liner was done (they have their own shop for that).
Stephen, yes indeed it will. Even better in fact. Short bed, crew cab, 6.7, 4x4, Lariat Ultimate painted both the colors of the RV. Ingot Silver and Magnetic. Can't wait!
Sounds like we are both counting the days, or soon will be. I'm hoping mine gets here for the beginning of the season. We have a vacation planned in the Caribbean for the last three weeks in April, so we won't mind terribly if the truck doesn't show up until we get back. But, by golly, it better be here by then.

No, nothing yet. The ordering / inventory manager at my dealer calls me each Friday after she gets her weekly order update from Ford. Still no VIN or schedule date. Initially, I was disappointed, but now I've resigned myself to it being here when we get back from vacation at the end of April. If that doesn't happen, I may go non-linear however!!!

Thanks. It would much appreciated if you keep the spreadsheet up to date as you get information. Have you checked the Ford site in my link above with your order #, dealer code and last name? Your order # and dealer code should be on the email you got from Ford when you ordered.

Yes, I was checking each morning, but it always returns the error message that no such truck is found. I've read on a number of threads that no one seems to be getting any info from the COTUS site. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but just what I've heard. It sounds like, once you have the VIN, you can get some info from the ETIS site, but you need the VIN first to do that.
I'm looking forward to updating the spreadsheet as soon as I have any information to update it with.
Now, I'm just relying on the ordering manager at my dealer to give me a VIN when she knows something. I've given up on getting any information from my sales guy. Now that I've signed on the line and given him a deposit, I can't even get him to return calls or emails. Really annoying!!!!
Does anyone know if this week's weekly constraints update shows issues with the F450 still? It's been a couple of weeks since I ordered, and it still hasn't been processes. Ford chat stills says 8-12 weeks total from order submission to truck on the dealer's lot.
