Shifting problem?

Over the past couple months I thought I've noticed a shifting issue when it is cold. Today I paid attention when I left and it does seem like something is going on. It seems to be sluggish in third and sixth, but only when it is cold. It also seemed to want to shift into fourth at one point and then dropped back into third (maybe it was third down into second). Once it is warmed up, it is OK.

There are no codes and can be duplicated every time she has sat for overnight, and she is garage kept. Any ideas? 66,000 miles.

I was getting shift flares between 5 and 6 only when the transmission was cold. Brought it in, Ford wiped out the shift strategy tables in the computer and the problem went away. Maybe the same is in order for you?

Awesome. Can hope it's that simple. Have a call in to the dealer. Will report back with the results.

This is all it was. Had it wiped out last Tuesday and finally drove it on Saturday and the funky shifting was all normal again.

Is this something we can do with Forscan, or is it a dealer only item?

Really not sure. Would be interested to know the answer to that one.
