stalls wial driving

I have an 04 f250 with a 5.4 I smelled something like burning and the truck shut down. the fuse panel was warm. after a min or so it starts back up never know how far till it stalls again. Can anyone help with this please.

Welcome to FTE, taz3743.

I would start with getting the truck scanned for error codes. Your symptoms are very non-specific. There are a large number of things that could cause you to stall, pinpointing the exact one would be very difficult.

Do you have any fuel pressure?

3 volt showing on the scanner but truck would run. I change fuel filter. Ran good for three days then acted up again. Also thinking about the fuel control mod I am stumped
