Best 6pos chip
looking to get a chip for my 7.3 is there one that has a gas mileage tune and power tunes? Sorry if I sound stupid lol not used to this kind of stuff. Also what's a good cheap exhaust I can get for a 7.3 I want like a 5"

Don't buy any tuner that promises you better fuel mileage. If they are vague about it about how some have reported gains, that's fine as there are situations where it could help, but for the other 98%, a tuner / chip will not give you better fuel economy.
It can make it more fun to drive, give you more power, better throttle response and all sorts of things. Just don't bank of fuel economy.

The ones the do see a mpg increase is because they have issues that the chip is covering up and pushing the engine back to the way it should be running.
A lot of people claim mpg increases but they actually see a decrease because they can't keep their foot out of it.

The ts 6 position tuner is the cheapest and it's a little **** you turn but I have a 97 7.3 and I run a power hungry hydra tuner it comes stock I believe with 6 tunes you can easily change with your computer if wanted and room for 12 total tunes I love mine and it's a little box that shows a number and has up and down arrows for the number the tune isn't on much more convenient

You can get economy tunes on the hydra I have big injectors and an Econ tune and get decent mpg

We aren't say you can't get good mpg. You just won't see a increase and if you do it's most likely due to the chip covering up a issue.
Just like when people get bigger injectors and say they get better mpg. That's cause the old injectors were worn out

We do not write tunes for the Hydra chip. Just wanted to clear that up.
