Just replace the b solenoid in my transmission last night; everythings running good now, but for some reason it started doing this wierd thing where if I come to a complete stop at a red light, then ease into the throttle, it will start surging, bucking. If I give it a little more gas on the pedal it will smooth out though. It only does it if u ease into the throttle after a complete or near complete stop. Anybody have a clue as to whats going on?
unplug the ICP sensor in the passenger valve cover, if its oil soaked or the surging stops, a new pigtail or sensor is required.
If that doesn't fix it and your running Rotella T5 or T6 oil... switch to Delo 5w-40 and wait a couple thousand miles. Most likely, it will stop after the oil change.
It's possible to be an injector... have you read the codes yet?

Truck isnt throwing any codes atm. It only surges when you're leaving the red light under light throttle. It idles fine and runs through the gears fine. It almost feels like wheel hop in the rear
Are you using anything to see live data, like a scan gauge or the Torque app? Can you see the RPM jump? What are you reading codes with?
Unplug the sensor and see what happens, won't hurt the truck to run that way. It will throw a code for it and light the CEL. If it works, problem solved, fix the sensor/plug and move on... if not, change oil and lets see.

scan gauge is horrible at codes. Set an x-gauge to read the DTC count. If it shows DTC-2, then there are two codes. Then scan for codes, it reads 0.... get a better code reader when you can, like Torque.
What is the ICPV and IPR doing when the surge happens?
