Does anybody out there have any ideas how to install bigger mud flaps. I just finished my truck and have bigger tires on it and there's nothing to bolt them to. I was thinking chip guard but I don't know how that will look. Any suggestions.
Steel angle bolted or welded to the frame. Style points if it looks professionsal...Fab it up.
2X Hio. Especially if they are mandatory in your neck of the woods on lifted trucks.
Or you can go to your local Automotive paint store. They will carry a product made by 3M. It's a stick on clear paint protector film. Comes in various size rolls. Companies also use it to install a "clear bra" on the front of cars. It's expensive but worth it. Ford's been using it also for years on various pickups. There is at least one cheaper brand out there but I've heard the UV rays turn it yellowish. The 3M stuff won't yellow and is not real obvious once installed. .
