You are right on it being cold. I didn't even get out to my garage to clean off the work shop table so when it warms up I have some place to mix Bondo & paint for my project.
It is a LOT worst than this picture shows
Good news front, wife does volunteer work for the Johnson County animal league and part of that work is fostering cats & dogs. The foster we had the last few weeks, Lucy, got adopted yesterday.
So far we are 3 for 4 on dog foster/adaption. Well guess it is 4 for 4 as we adapted the first foster Keeper.
The fosters have been older dogs, 7-8 yo other than Keeper that is now little over 2 yo.
Last Saturday and both days this weekend they have been doing animal pictures with Santa for a few dollars.

That's cool Dave!
I volunteer with several different rescues. Mainly for German Shepherds, I'm a sucker for the breed
My Rocky is with me a lot, we'll even get in the truck just to get out a bit.
The cold bug is floating around here too.
I've got a water leak in the line between the meter and the house. Over the years the roots from a Maple tree have grown past the line. That may be causing the problem. Plumber will be here Monday morning. I can turn it on a couple times a day for an hour at a time to take showers, fill pot's, gallon jugs and wash dishes. After an hour the water starts collecting on top of the ground. Can't wait to see the next water bill...lol
Bob I got a whole box with all the weatherstripping for my 69 for $200. But it's been sitting on the shelf for 8 or 10 years, it just seems like too big a job to take the doors apart and remove all the window glass, vent windows, paint and repair everything, and then put it back together with the new stuff. I need to get off my *** and do it soon though because otherwise the "new" stuff is gonna be too old and dry rotted to use!

Seems like a large job. Throw something on the grill, and we'll come over eat the food and help you knock it out!

I need that same box, but for a 73-79. If it's a seal for the doors or glass, mine are bad.
Josh I might take you up on that, next year when it starts to warm up!
Bob, they still sell the kit for 200 at JcWhitney, or of course LMC you can get the individual pieces, if you just need a piece here and a piece there then that's the way to go.

Before we did the cab swap several years ago on Ka'Bluey, I had replaced all of the weather stripping on both doors. And then put that weather stripping on the current cab. Between the 3 different owners that had him after I sold him, somebody kept or sold that weather stripping.
