This just started. I searched the forum but couldn't find an answer. Any idea what this is and how do I fix it? Thanks!

try a factory reset of the system. You can also try to clean the contacts on the SD card with a pencil erasier on the gold contacts.

Maybe the Ford IVT Team will chime in and help you with this problem.

Have you tried a master reset of the radio? Have you removed and re-inserted the SD card? Have you tried to read the SD card on a computer/laptop?

What year is your truck? Appears to be a 2013 or newer.

On my 2015 there is a compartment on top of the dash above the radio. Press the release and the door pops up. It is on the left side with the AV jacks.

See Item 7 on page 3 of this link. It is called the Media Hub

rlanicek,

Happy to see that the forum members were able to point you in the right direction! If anything else comes up, I'm only a post away.

Insert NAV SD Card

I've been having this issue, too, for the past couple of weeks with the "Insert NAV SD Card" message.

I did a master reset of the radio and removed and re-inserted the SD card. Neither of these fixed the issue. I read the SD card on a computer, and the computer reads it fine and shows data on there.

Any other thoughts before I take it to the dealer?

Thanks!

what year is your truck? Did you make sure SD card "clicked" in and is flush with the SD card holder? If it has one, make sure the card lock is set to unlocked.

For the heck if it, make sure no usb cables are plugged in (like a phone charger) and then reseat the sd card again. Sometimes the usb cables go bad and can cause issues.
