Don't feel guilty, I am happy for everyone who gets a new ride!
BUT, in these situations there is always a BUT, to quote the late great Janis Joplin you just "take a little piece of my heart"
Man Rob, you do have patience.
I've been waiting three months to the day less than you have and that's been a couple of months longer than the dealer told me I'd have to wait and my truck's ETA is now pushed back to Dec. 24th.
Hopefully you will be drivin' around in the 17 by early next week.
The truck is finally here. 12/12/20. Arrived at dealer late this afternoon. WhooHooo! Put 15 miles on right off the carrier and then back for prep, box spray etc and should be in possession Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.....Lots to enjoy, lots to learn, lots to do yet.
No running boards: tough step up without them. In my shop to install at home.
Tires: Came with the crappiest tires on the market, Continentals. Look like summer tires for a passenger car. Glad I arranged for Michelin M+S at the dealer.
Hubs locked in: no problem. some else worried about chucking in the front end, it's just stiff u-joints. Started to clear up quickly.
Payload: seem light but with the AS tires and gooseneck hitch prep probably about right at 3627lbs. Wanted more but screw the stickers anyway.
No pics yet due to Earthlink internet being sketchy all afternoon but finally, its close to home! Thanks everybody for their support through all of this.
