We really need more information. You mention axles and not i-beams so I am guessing your truck is four wheel drive?

Wasn't a 4WD F350 only available in '79?

Yes it was. I suppose some call the front I-Beams axles. I am just old and set in my terminology.

The parts catalog shows different part numbers for the 73/74 axles and the 75-up but it doesn't specify what, if any, differences there are.

The I-Beam (axle) pivot bushings are different.

C5TZ-3B177-A = 1975/79 F350: 5/8" I.D. x 2 1/4" O.D.

C8TZ-3B177-A = 1973/74 F350: 5/8" I.D. x 2 7/16" O.D.

Truck axils

Thank you for your message. Helps a lot. If the length, width and angles are the same, then maybe changing axils and all brake parts to accommodate 1976 brake rotor/hub assembly since 1974 rotor or rotor/hub assembly is no more and can't find good used ones, soooo!? Thanks again.

Rotor

Hello this is Ric and I am wondering, I have nib 1974 f350 2wd srw rotor and wondering if someone had another or one very close to new. I am willing to buy it. Another thing, I was also playing with the idea of changing the Ibeams from 1974 to 1976 f350 2wd srw, to be able to use the rotor/hub assembly, easier to get. The only thing I can see iS the bushing size. I beleive everything else is the same and minor adjustments can be made, being a welder by trade. Also I can raise the front 1.5-2". Want to try for rotor first. Thanks again, have great holiday.
