Clutch Fork
I have seen the article https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...llhousing.html.
I have a 78 F100 Cleveland V8.
I have been having problems with my clutch.
The pedal presses down gets stiff for an instance and then goes free again.
It puts quite a bit of stress on the cluth system when it goes stiff and I have to really press down to get it inot gear. Too much so, it would be no good driving like this.
When I took a look at the fork set up when the master cylinder had originally gone two months back. I disasembled the slave cutch set up and the fork was easily puled out and put in into the bell housing. I noticed the fork had a hinge type part on it with two holes. Like shown in the first photo. The part is attached to the bell housing. However this part was attached to my fork.
Hope I am not going to have to revove the bell housing to repair the situation. Anyone had a similar experience or can help? Thanks,

In the US/Canada, the 351C was only installed in 1970/74 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars/Ranchero's.
No 1970's US/Canadian F100/350 had a hydraulic clutch. It was introduced in 1983 F250/350 6.9L diesel and 460, in 1984 F150/350 & Bronco 300/302 (except F350)/351W
