Thanks it's okay definitely under warranty airbox was spotless clean hoses were clean like I stated I change the air filter often. It's funny he has worked on air boxes with turbos almost sucking the filter in so loaded with dirt trails going up the tubes and here's mine well taken care and it dies. When I asked if the new 15 and 16 turbos are experiencing failures he said no they've been very reliable. He's changed three in the last 2 years and all had well over a hundred thousand they don't have to remove the cab, He's hopeful by Wednesday i will have it back. I personally think it's my fault but, don't tell Ford LOL that truck has been pulling a lot of weight ceramics one trip up to New Hampshire I swear the Turbo didn't stop making pressure for 2 hrs talk about a cool down time once I got to the job site i let the truck idle for 15 minutes I thought the oil temperature would never go under 245 it was so high, mechanic said that's totally acceptable?According to the mechanic the truck would never allowed too high of a temperature it would limit power ?and warnings lights would have been showing. Curious what that temperature is ? Well I will be happy to get my truck back I didn't get a truck lonar they gave me a Ford Fusion. I haven't been in a car in 25 years too funny actually had to pull over felt like motion sickness being so low to the ground take care
figured I'd update this post. Took it to the dealer and was told there was no abnormal noise. Ran 3 other 250's that were there and all made the same noise. I was told by the tech that the intake config. and egr make it sound like that. Took of the intake and actually put a bar on the shaft and got no movement. Its been 10,000 miles and still no change in noise. The one thing I would recommend doing if your a little mechanically inclined is to take your throttle body off and clean it and right behind it. I can't describe how much soot is back there. It was way worse than my 6.0 egr.
