I've had 17 gen 2's come back leaking. Out of 250 installed. One showed up today 23 months after install it starts leaking. He doesn't keep any negative posts on any of his pages. Let's just mark it down that he has costed my place about $17000 in warranty work. Id take his teeth if he would text me back to tell me what airport to fly into. Has anyone had a negative experience with them?? Edit out the name calling.
Well crap,, Julie is ALWAYS on the phone. The local crowd has blessed us with a bunch of work. But do you know how long it takes to walk a customer through the problems and fixes for these trucks?
We're actually doing an excursion right now for the Wounded Warriors. We're honored that they chose us. We've been building and installing a bunch of engines. Got two excursions in right now with the engines out of them.

Not good news for me...I have their gen 2 delete kit sitting in a box in my garage. It just came in yesterday. I have read lots of good reviews on here about this particular part so I purchased it instead of just plugging the factory cooler and reinstalling it. Anybody else have any feedback on the IPR gen 2 EGR delete?
Last one I did was a total cluster flop. Wrong parts. No new gaskets. Totally the suppliers fault and wouldn't own up to it. I don't usually call out suppliers but this one deserves it.
From what I've seen with the IPR kit is the aluminum adapter is a poor quality casting. When I say poor I mean I've seen better in high school shop class. The pieces are porous and full of holes that may or may not leak.
Companies like Edelbrock have been making cast aluminum parts for decades without issues.
A machined adapter from a billet would be a cure all but I'm sure they would ramp up the price. So for now IPR needs to at least get a quality forging outfit to produce a quality part.
Just my opinion of course.
Not mine but here's a video of what I'm saying. You can see Vince has commented on the video. If it was a quality forge to begin with, you wouldn't need a "sealing process" to begin with. And you wouldn't have breakage from a porous cast.
