My computer is so old, videos stutter and I do not have speakers hooked to it. Are the hoses leaking at the AN connection or is it leaking in the back? Are you replacing the seals with IPR O-rings when doing oil changes? I also ran into the AN fittings leaking because I over tightened them. I use conical seals from Summit and they have fixed the seeps.
It was leaking between the lower flange and the tower. Was able to stop it with a new motorcraft o-ring.
As far as hoses, before Anthony saw it both oil and coolant hoses that came with the kit leaked. The coolant hoses had pinholes all through them that leaked. The oil hoses leaked at the fitting flares and at the crimps and I believe the hose itself too; looked like it was seeping up past the metal braid but there was so much leaking going on at some point you can't see all the trees for the forest. I junked all the hoses it came with after fighting leaks for months. Replaced coolant hoses with Napa stuff and had a hydraulic shop make the blue oil hoses I have now and new fittings for the cap. All that solved the line leaks for good but wasn't cheap.
Additionally I've had the bolt holes in the lower flange fail, causing the cap to blow off and most of my oil pumped out like a geyser all over the engine. I'll attach a photo of that driveway mess. By sheer dumb luck it happened on the way back from town right in my driveway. That was fixed with steel thread inserts.
i like the idea of the kit, but the execution is poor. I've had to fix too much about it
My best guess is he is looking for pictures of installed ipr kits leaking or not. he has done extensive work with the product and likely is looking to see variations and if he can see the signs of a leak weither or not the customer or user can tell
It's not clear what you're asking? If you want pics of an IPR install that isn't leaking here's a nice clean valley one year after the delete.
Since he's seen about a 10% failure rate, with most of the failed ones going un-noticed by owners, he's asking for people with the product to pop the hood and grab a quick picture of the delete and post it up.
The expectation is for every 10 posted, 9 won't show any issues but 1 will.
The EGR delete I got from you isn't leaking yet but it only has about 300 miles on it. But time will tell and if it does Vince will hear my rant in more ways than one. You KNOW I hate re work

I spelled it out as clearly as I could. Your pic actually has a couple red spots by the turbo pedestal. But the pics I'm looking for is from up top looking down on an assembled engine. Can't see anything on an e series tho. I sense your skepticism on my issues,, and that's just fine,, you have installed how many??? Not trying to sound like this,, but it is,, what it is.

Just like any other item that people purchase based off from Internet input, most will never admit they were wrong about their purchase.

Yes, at first. Partly because I hadn't heard about any IPR failures and secondly because I didn't want to believe it. It's an ugly job on the van. I post in two diesel forums and lurk on several others and hadn't heard of a single IPR failure. This is important info.
I might also point out that you're criticizing a product while promoting your own in the same thread. And that's probably fine too. Thanks for having the ***** to call IPR out for what now appears to be a shoddy product. I'll be looking your way if mine fails.

Good point. I edited all my posts but 2. I just wanna see pics.
I'm not known for being Politically Correct and I call them like I see them. I wasn't too impressed with Vince's attitude when I called him about being a installing dealer here in NJ when I was thing about opening a shop. Matter of fact he was pretty rude,I called up Anthony and got what I wanted. I just hope I got IPR's stuff before he cheeped out and started dealing with China and their crummy castings. Vince also heard from me about the coolant filter and the Chinese hose and clamps that came with the kit. I like the product so far,but if it fails the net is a wonderful thing and I WILL hang him out to dry. I spent my hard earned money and I want what I payed for.
