When I went to pick it up, shipping label showed it had been delivered to Parts a month before they got the truck. Dealer was willing to install, but I told them I would let them know later--just took the box with me. I think I'm probably just going to sell it and get some $$ back.

interestingly enough, I had to ask for this, no one knew anything about it. Tried to tell me that the $725 was just some pe-wiring. The shipping label had the VIN on it.
The dealers are still learning on this option. I had to ask for mine too.

If you are interested in selling it PM me. I have the one kit I ordered with my truck and have it already for my 5th wheel TH but would like another one to use on one of my other trailers.

It's not a time thing but rather a post count thing. A few more posts and you can PM. Maybe 10 total? I can't remember. Also, even though you can't PM yet, you do have the option to send an email through FTE. Just go to Jace's profile and click contact member. The PM option won't be available but the email should.

I wanted both rear cameras but when I priced truck online with the high mount camera the Ford website wanted to remove the tailgate camera. I ordered this option to get all cameras. I thought the front camera would be good for tight parking lots and my garage.

If you order the CHMSL camera option it also includes the rear tail gate camera.

The order configurator makes it look like it is removing it, but you will have both. Not sure why Ford did it that way. On the dealer end, when ordering the units it makes it appear as if ordering the Rear CHMSL removes the rear tail gate camera.

That's correct. A lot of people are confused by this.

Yes I did find it confusing. Initially I only planned to order the two rear cameras but after watching a couple of videos on the 360 camera system I thought it would be a great option.

Absolutely Bob. I have it on my wife's SUV and it's a great feature for sure. I'm guessing it will be even better on a larger vehicle like a SD!

Good to hear Rodney. The SD is so tall it will certainly be helpful especially in tight spaces. It will come in handy parking in my garage. I'm going to need a shoehorn to get it in.

Even on a mid size SUV like the wife's X5, I find it very helpful when pulling into a parking spot etc. It's really a great feature. BMW has had it for a while and the Ford system looks to be identical so I'm sure I'll love it. They've also had adaptive steering for quite a while so the tow tech bundle will get you two fancy dancy euro type options!

Rodney I know you mentioned the tow tech bundle before. Unfortunately it's not available as an option here in Canada, at least not on a Lariat. I had to order the adaptive steering and ultimate trailer tow camera system as two separate options.

Yes. I'm very excited about the new truck. It's going to be a long wait. My last truck arrived at my dealership within 5 weeks. I'm sure this one will take much longer.

Is this the $725 line item on the order sheet:
CST TRLTPMS/CAM *DLRINSTLD ACY

That's what my order has on it and was told it includes the tire sensors and the rear camera for my fifth wheel.
