Can you read the casting number on it? (Your 5th picture) Look for a C2.. or C3.. or C4 etc number. You block doesn't appear to be a side oiler. It has only two motor mount bolt holes and no screw-in freeze plugs and no bulge on the driver side. It may be an earlier engine.

Non-expert opinion rendered without warranty.

This is said to be a 427 top oiler:

All I can say is it ain't a sideoiler...no side oil galley on the oil filter side. For more info you may have to visit one of the FE forums where all the FE nuts hang out.

Not a sideoiler for sure.

*May* also be any FE where someone added crossbolts.

Of course someone adding SK heads sure sets it apart from the common FE engine. I hate to say it, but the only way you are going to know what this engine is, is to dig a little deeper into the engine.

They don't need to be grade 8.

Anyway, to the original poster. Just pull a head.
A real 427 is worth $40 in gaskets to be 100% certain what it is.

No I don't.
I was saying, you have a C4AE block (all of them came with crossbolt provisions that year, so anyone could easily add crossbolts), there are no screw in plugs, you *think* it's a 427.
So buy the gaskets and pull a head.

Chances are you do not have a 427, but you may..... only one way to REALLY find out, pull a head.
So get a tube of silicone, a set of head gaskets, and set of intake gaskets and find out.

You are sending an engine that might not even run to a dyno?
Interesting. Let us know how it all goes.

As far as bore/stroke, here is a helpful chart:
