Hello,
Wondering if anyone could help me here. I've seen Ford had a late and early style COP designated by boot color for their modular engines. V-10, 5.4 etc.. with a switchover. The coils on my 08 F250 V-10 have part number 8L3E-12A366-AA on top of them which I assume are the Brown boot later style 1 piece plug boot. DG-521 style. The older version coil has 3L3E12A366CA on top DG-511 style. What exactly are differences in these other than boot and spring length. could the DG-511 coil be used on the newer head if one was to use the brown boot and spring or are they totally different..? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
