This might sound like a dumb question, but would a 94 7.3 idi non turbo bolt right into a 92? Got the beat on a cleaner truck with a locked up 7.3 and i have a rusted out 94 with a good motor i could swap it with. Just wondering if this would be as easy as i think it would be.
Yup; you can use any and all components of whichever truck you want.
The blocks/engines are identical.
You may also want to take a look at your locked up 7.3 and see what's wrong with it. Unless it's locked up solidly due to rust, or has a connecting rod through the side... it may well be savable or usable.
