Transmission temp

What is everyone getting for transmission temp I have a 350 6.2 goes from 198 to 208 seams high what is everyone else loging unloaded

I have the 6.7 and average temp is 204. You don't have a problem.

I was watching this for a few days. High 190's seems to be SOP. My 2011 was in the mid 180's so this is a bit different.

And I have a 2015. It runs quit warmer than my 05. I am looking at ball park numbers. I guess from one year to another or different rev they could be slightly different. I still don't think the op has a problem.

Yeah, I don't think anything is wrong, it's just where this year's combo seems to run. It's an interesting question and I'm curious to see if others are seeing the slightly higher temps that I am with the 2017.

I'm told that the trucks have a thermostat in the trans that runs over 200 deg. Mine's usually at 204 on the highway.

Yup, all Super Duties have had thermostats controlling transmission temperature since 2005, and diesel models since 2003.
