#3 Cylinder coil plug

I changed out my plugs. The plug connector on the #3 coil no longer snaps on. My only option is to use a small ziptie to hold it in place. Has anyone cut it off and wired a new plug end on?

Suggestions?

I bought a new plug connector for an injector on e-bay... cut it off and soldered the new one on... plug came with 6 inch long wires to make it easy to splice to original.

Rock Auto, or probably any decent parts store.

My old 97 lived at least 6 years with half the coil connectors secured with zip ties.
