Very common reproduced part. Cheap version ck out LMC, quality version ck out Dennis Carpenter, Jeff Bronco Graveyard. National Parts Depot..

I would recommend Dennis Carpenter. They have panels in red, blue and black. Your gray panel has been painted/dyed that color. Gray wasn't offered as a factory color.
Their panels run around $100 each but seeing as you'll need to paint them, Dennis Carpenter sometimes has off color panels for $100 pair.
These panels don't include the carpeted section below the panel.

Yeah this isn't the standard door panel. It's a full size that goes all the way up and up the window frame too. I really don't care about the carpet on the bottom. I just like the full panel because there are small holes in the bottom of my inner door that look like something should be there. The doors are off if a 78 F150.

Bruce I do not think so, I think you are confusing the grey outer paint for plastic. Look at his dash color, grey also. It looks like a standard door panel to me. With carpet added where the map pockets sometimes go.

I was thinking the door had been painted to match the panel.
If the OP posts the "body" code from the door warranty plate , I'll see if there's anything different.
Also, check the "DSO" code (last code on the plate), is it two digits or six?

The "EZ" trim code means saddle and tan all vinyl with saddle appointments (81E). The 81E is the "Ranger" trim level, nothing special or unusual there.
The two digit DSO (24) means it was ordered through the Jacksonville district sales office and was a "stock" order. If it was ordered with non-standard or special order equipment, it would have a six digit number instead of two.

I like the way that looks with the door painted grey. At first, I thought that it looked like there was additional thickness with perhaps an upholstered surround but it appears to be the transfer of the weatherstripping.
