1978 F100 export model VIN decoding
Hello, need some help with the engine code on this one:
F108EAG0317
I believe it's a low compression engine, but which one?

If it was a mis-identification of the letter, my guess would have been a "B" (300 6 cylinder), but for export models there is an "8" engine code.

Should be the same for the '78 model year.
And for all, yes, it is an "8" and not some other letter.
