2002 7.3L engine just idles

Question for my brother in law, he has a 2002 7.3L and the engine just idles and wont do anything. I dont have many deatils on it, but he has changed the TPS on the go pedal. Do you have any ideas i can give him to try next . He bought the truck from me about 1 1/2 yrs ago, and hasnt had a sticth of trouble with it until now .

Does he have anything else inop?

When the fuse for the Idle Validation Switch (IVS) goes, other things also go inop.
