Ok, so why do you have two starter solenoids?

If your starter requires so many amps that you need to feed it with two giant wires on two solenoids, you have other problems.

You said it's a problem when warm. Not when cold, when the engine should be harder to rotate? Sounds more like a problem in the starter

I don't think you've actually fixed anything, and actually increased your risk of fire

Slow start when warm is usually an indication of your timing being set too high, your starter on its way out the door, or your battery is also on its way out the door.

Running 2 solenoids just for a "hey why not" factor is a great way to justify carrying a fire extinguisher in the cab everywhere you go.

IF my starter draws 250 amps through 1 cable, and I add a second cable, the starter will draw 500 amps?

I think you are better off with additional diagnostics - likely with starter or ign timing.

Are you running headers on your truck? You may be heat soaking the starter after running. You might consider a heat shield of some sort or they make wraps for your starter to insulate it from the heat. Is it a new or newer starter?
