Love them wasn't entirely sure at first seeing pics because of the extension being black but would definitely get again the people that have seen the truck with the std length boards are trying to add the ext to theirs
Its the one option that I wished I would have added to my truck. I 'think' it would have helped me when operating the fifth wheel hitch. Its really had to reach.
Thanks for the info guys.
I was hoping they would be good because I really like the idea of a running board long enough to access the box. My leased 2015 F-150 has the deployable box steps, and they really come in handy. I will be ordering a F-350 6.2l in the spring. I am going to add the extended running boards to my option list.
I'm ordering them as well. One thing to consider that another member here did. He had them sprayed with Rhino Liner or Linex. Can't remember. Either way, I thought they looked much better being all black and the finish is much tougher for their intended use. Since my Ford dealer is a Rhino dealer, I'm going to work it into my order so it's done before delivery.

Rodney, I just got my boards back from LineX and they look mint. I purchased Weston 6" wide boards but they do not go past the back of the cab due to needing space for the camper hold downs. They look mint to me and should last forever. He didn't add the non skid to the bottom so they are smooth (easier to release mud and dirt) and only the sides and tops have the textured surface. The rubber treads popped off pretty easily and look great. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow but they won't be on the truck for another month or so.
Sounds great Rob. Personally, I'm not a huge chrome everywhere guy to begin with and for the location we're talking about, I think spray liner just looks like the right finish...
I have them ordered on mine as well. No choice really - I'm getting old. While in Texas recently looking at Super Dutys they had the w2w boards. The only issue I had was they seemed to flex a bit when I put my foot on them. The Rhinos I installed on my old truck felt like part of the frame. Can any of you guys that have them chime in on how sturdy they are. I wasn't overly concerned about this - its less then $300 option.
