Can anyone tell me where the roof/cab panels are joined on a '79 F-350 Super Cab? I'm thinking...only thinking, of replacing mine. Too much rust around the drip rails. Don't see any other way.
There's spot welds all around the outside edge of the panels. They're straight down in the drip rails and across the top of the windshield lip and rear window lip
I have that diagram dlburch, thx. Although my drip rails aren't the greatest shape at top, my rust is worst going down the back of the side windows. Both sides of drip rail. Was wondering where the cab joints are down lower. I'm guessing where the paint location changes and probably the joint at top going around to the back of cab? I could start grinding to find I suppose, but wanted more of a game plan before I got carried away.....like it really matters lol.
Anyone have any pics of roof/drip rails ground down to metal for viewing? I know there's fabricator gurus out there lol! Everything helps. Thx guys and gals!
On standard cabs the cab corner goes from the roof seam line all the way to the floor. I would think the super cab is the same way with the drip rail going over the top of the cab corner.
