Staying at the Hampton hotel for the next 3 nights. Pretty nice place. Actually too nice. I could never afford to stay here if I were paying. Going to enjoy it.
Don't swim, and I did not bring my swim trunks anyway. Not been looking fr a new place just yet. Was too worried about finding a temp place. Will start tomorrow. Friend gave me a Rent.com magazine and there are quite a few that take section 8. Haven't heard anything from the church since I requested to be put on the prayer list.
Tell me about it. I thought this was over when I did it the last time. Never thought I would have to do it all over again. Anyway, welcome to November, is everyone ready to slice and dice a turkey bird?
Enjoying the comforts of the Hampton Inn. Just came from the reception area, where the have game 7 of the American Series on. (Can't be a World Series if the world is not invited to participate. LOL) left in the 4th inning.
Will try to get a place as quickly as possible. Will keep everyone informed.
You can say that again. I must have had 6 coronaries in the last 4 innings.
The cubbies were my sentimental favorite. The first big league game I ever went to was at Wrigley Field with my Dad. I honestly would have been OK with either team winning, but I was rooting for the Cubs.
(Can't be a World Series if the world is not invited to participate. LOL)
When the rest of the world has a MLB quality league and not just a few players on a few teams that are MLB ready, then they will be invited. Until such time as they can muster the necessary quality, we are the world when it comes to the baseball championship.

That was a fantastically entertaining world series! But it was far from the best baseball games played, much less the best World Series, in my not so humble opinion.
There were way too many mistakes by both teams and some very serious managerial decisions that bordered on lunacy, if not outright so damn perplexing as to invite thoughts and whispers of Maddon maybe throwing the game.
Yeah, his decisions were that bad.
Fortunately the baseball gods kept Maddon from blowing the series no matter how hard he tried to do so, and the Cubbies got it done.
I screamed as loud for this Cub win as I did for the 2012 and 2014 Giants World Series.
