Don't know what to say. When I tried to view the DVD, a window popped up asking me what program to use to play the DVD. There was only one option. MS Store app. I closed the window, and opened media player, and found no option to play a DVD. There was an option to play the mp3's I have on the computer, but nothing for DVD. So I bought the $15 MS product.
Don't understand this. My Windows 10 has WMP built in, and it plays different movie formats, including DVDs.
Checking this out, I stumbled on a video my nephew made in the 2012 World Series. He was running a "super slow motion" camera that took something like 3,000 frames per second. This is an incredible film sequence; Hunter's bat actually made "contact" with the ball 3 times (as the bat was breaking).
Wait! Your nephew works for Fox? He was behind that camera back in 2012??
Happy Friday Nor Cal! Hope everyone has a great day, and even better weekend.
Found an apt! Application was approved yesterday. So now I just need the manager to fill out her part of the section 8 voucher, I fill out mine, and turn it in, then wait about 2 weeks for them to come out and inspect it. That will give me time to figure out how I am going to come up with the deposit and my half of the first month's rent. LOL. Maybe GoFundme will work for me this time. I doubt it since I am not a social media person. Maybe Perry has a resource or two he can tap into? Don't know, will have to call him later, since I can't sleep and it is 4am.
Thanks all. Got a Gofundme account up, but I am not putting any faith in that as the last time I tried I got zero donation. Since I don't have a Facebook account I am guessing that is the reason. In any case, Perry has two different resources he can try to get help with the down payment. One of them is the same guy who paid $409 for three nights at the Hampton Inn.
Maybe I will get the wheelchair out and sit at a corner with a cardboard sign. Rumor has it those people make pretty good money. Problem is, my conscience would bother me.

Jim, when my tenants have problems with their rent, I advise them to go to the Salvation Army. They help people with rent and deposit for rental units. Also, local churches will sometimes have funds they set aside to help people too.
Since FTE doesn't allow GoFundMe links or any kind of fundraising, if anyone reads Jims post, please do not ask him to post the link. As a Chapter Leader Jim is aware of the FTE Guidelines, but regular users seem to forget about them all the time so please consider this a PSA explaining why Jim didn't post the link.
Yes, I am well aware of the FTE guidelines, which is why I only mentioned I have a campaign there, and did not post the link. I was not aware of the Salvation Army helping with rent though. I knew they will help with the PG&E bill, but I made sure I kept that current, so there is no outstanding balance. My church helped me in the past when the car was impounded, and I am sure if I need them too, they will help again. I will wait to hear from Perry first though as I want to give him first shot at it. I will go down early Monday morning to the local Salvation Army location to see if they do indeed help with this. Honestly, I don't care where the help comes from as long as I can get help. LOL.
