I am so glad for some cautious divers today. They kept me out of trouble until I got my mind back into winter driving mode.
Also made the mistake of going grocery shopping today. Dumb move on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the Costco parking lot was a total zoo.
If you are traveling this week, remember your iron and emergency gear, cause the snow is here and we had chain control in effect on most of the mountain roads around Redding.

We said that about the H20 last year , falling from the sky , our body's along with the trees and plants just soaked it up, snow not so much even though I lived in the White Mountains of Arizona where snow was at times 4 ft in lower elevations as much as 18' at the ski runs we had fun in the stuff

We got about 1/2" of rain yesterday. It's very much appreciated.
I saw a headline yesterday that there have been 102,000,000 trees killed in California because of the drought. I pity the poor guy that had to count all of those!

, good snow in the mountains , wet rain up to 1"to 2" in the valley , Fresno 1/8 wait that was off the car in front of me cleaning his windshield

If it isn't one thing it's another. This year our Thanksgiving Thursday falls on a Friday. Should be a pretty big do. Last count was 22 relatives all at once.

Bark beetle , taking out the whole forest, and it's working it's way to the sequoias national park , hopefully the redwoods with stand them with the chemical that they produce, other wise those big trees will take a hit aswell.

25 people expected at our get together on Thursday.
Got a letter today from the management company of the old apt I was in. They want me to pay them $1,408! I am like yeah right, like that is going to happen. They have an itemized list, and some of the stuff on there I am going to dispute. I have already gone to the HUD office and given it to them (after making a copy first) to see what they can do. I have no problem paying the back rent that I owe, but they want me to pay for a broken window which I already paid for. And charging me $150 for painting, when all they did was touch ups? Right.
