Oh yeah. I've come a long way since the start of this thread. I'm very mechanically inclined but my experience has been with EFI. I had never touched an auto carburetor until the build of this truck.

In the last couple of weeks, I have installed new 2AWG battery cables, ran a ground wire from the starter housing to the engine block, and installed the new roller rockers. The truck starts instantly now. As for the rockers, I have some light chatter. I've heard that Comp rockers can sound "like a sewing machine" but I need to double check my adjustments. I did a cylinder at a time, rolling through the firing order. I feel like there is a difference driving it but my vacuum is still at 12". Maybe I'm still hanging a valve?
Also, the voltage at my coil read -.28v ???
