My 2006 F350 is being a bad BOY!!
Last night he made me walk for the 1st time, the only good thing is we were only a mile from home when it died.
been running good then on the way to store we stop at stop sign and when we pulled out there is a 2 inch bump coming on to the main 2 lane when I hit that at about 5mph it made a noise Woosshoo and died and will not start.
only codes 403 and 405 which I am sure is because of the EGR delete kit I put in 3 weeks ago.
also when the noise happened the battery light came on then went out and he died, and now battery light on while cranking.
any ideas
Check you battery volts with a vom. Your ficm is very sensitive to operating properly and without strong battery voltage, it may be the issue. Expect to see about 48v at the ficm if battery voltage is good. Also, check you alternator voltage at the batteries or rear alt lug and expect to see between 13.8-14.4v.
