Questions from a noob
I have a 1987 F250, V8 5L 303cu, 4 speed manual, 2wd
Have done a few brake jobs, but nothing more than that.
But my job is pretty technical, work with my hands as is, industrial electrical manufacturing.
On to the questions.
1. Swapping parts from other trucks, which years can I do this with?
2. What is the difference between the F150s and F250s?
3. I have to pump my clutch to be able to shift in and out of gear smoothly, slave cylinder?
4. Would it be difficult to take the entire clutch system apart and 'tune it up'?
I would appreciate any info.

looks like 87-91 are interchangeable.
And the Haynes manual doesn't give a great layout of the engine bay, or the exhaust system.
Hoping the Chiltons will be better.

1. Swapping parts from other trucks, which years can I do this with? Depends on what part.
2. What is the difference between the F150s and F250s? F250 has heavier springs, hubs and frame. Body is the same.
3. I have to pump my clutch to be able to shift in and out of gear smoothly, slave cylinder? You must bleed it properly first.
4. Would it be difficult to take the entire clutch system apart and 'tune it up'? If you consider pulling a transmission difficult, then yes.
