Common Rust Spots to look for?
Im just about to buy a 67 or 68 f100 ranger i dont remember which one but i dont want to buy something that is just a pile of rust... the last time i looked at it was a few months ago and this weekend im going to go look at it and buy it if its good so i just wanted to know what the most common places these trucks like to rust... of course im going to look at the frame but anywhere else it could actually be a problem

Most common places for rust in these trucks: Around the roof drip rail, cab mounts, floor pans, side of cowl, lower rear corners of the front fenders, lower front and rear corner of doors, cab corners where they drop off on either side of the frame rails, the bed floor and in the seam running down the outboard sides of the bed, the battery tray and the right inner fender apron.
