wiring brights floor switch
Does anyone know where the 3 wires coming off the floor switch for my brights go to?

I can't remember what year your truck is but it's probably similar to this 1956 wiring diagram. I know this image is a bit big, but if I make it any smaller, or reduce the resolution further, I can't read it on my screen. Hope it helps you out.

thats awesome. The diagram I had was too blurry to read and I would have done it a little diferent according to that one.

wiring brights floor switch
there should also be an additonal wire (2 on one post) for the indicator bulb on the dash

The dash indicator wire is shown on the schematic as the second wire coming out of a connector just to the left of the foot switch.
