I sorta like it, and I think it will end up looking okay, but what a heck of a job someone has in store for them.

There was a lot of work put in that one BJ and I add some real nice craftsmanship and vision. That paint job gives me inspiration for the use of single stage paint.
Thanx for that pic BJ

Those that would destroy a classic like that, are the same ones who would put a SBC in a Classic Ford.

Did anyone save pictures of the CL truck? I don't remember what exactly it was. It'd be need if someone would have saved the pictures and posted them for future readers that stumble onto this thread.

Not so! My truck has a SBC in it and I would never do that to it or any other intact classic car or truck. My '52 F1 already had a SBC in it when I got it, it is a decent motor and will power the truck just fine. I also have modern suspension with MII front and 8.8 rear with posi and disc brakes.
What I wouldn't do is cut one up like that.

I agree Bob. I wondered why guys post CL pictures and now I know. Just tried to refreash my memory and it's gone.

bjmayberry2, I hear what you're saying, but I'll never learn to accept a SBC in a Ford Classic.
