I put the 47 COE on craigslist at noon and it was sold by 2. Money in hand. So I got my 40 parts truck for free and had enough left over to buy a Milwakee 1/2" cordless impact. Oh, and I am keeping the big tulsa winch off it. .Life is good.
And add to that the 47 I parted out, got all my money back from parts, got a nice set of doors for the panel and quite a bit of stuff still left. That, boys and girls, is how you finance a bad habit.
Congratulations! Admitting you have a problem is the first step on the road to recovery. Sorry, couldn't resist. Glad you made the sale. Now get back to work on the panel!
What, or why do people want with those? I mean, old trucks are one thing but the WAF on something like that is probably very low. Are they putting them to work after restoration?

I hate to sound dumb, but could you tell me what WAF stands for?
That's a new one on me! I'm lucky. My wife drags home dogs and cats from the animal shelter (two dogs, two cats)so she has nothing to say about my truck collecting. I have to admit I rub it in some when I sell trucks at a profit. Try that with a shelter animal. And my trucks don't come in the house and slobber all over her when she's trying to relax after work or watch the news in the morning. Oh and we don't have to pay someone to feed them if we get a chance to get away. And trucks don't chase deer and disappear for days on end (unless you want them to)...We also have separate money as we got married late in life. Just my Friday night rant. Edit: 3 hours later .... 'Stormy', the chubby 1/2 English farm collie, 1/4 black lab and 1/4 golden retriever is laying down beside me while I sit on the edge of the couch typing. I don't want to give the impression I don't like dogs and cats. Primarily I was commenting about she doesn't bug me about my collecting and I don't give her any trouble about hers. She works as many or more hours than me and she buys the pet food. (At the designer pet store... The crappy stuff in the supermarket "isn't good for them") Ha Ha

Reason: pet guilt
i remember back when me and my wife Ingrid first got married in feb 18 1984, 1 year into the marrage i wanted to buy a 1970 F 100 that i still have, she said "what do we need with a 3rd truck" we laugh about that statement now. but shes put up with me since the later part of 1980 so she gets a thumbs up
I took my lovely young wife along to meet my '46 hoping she would talk me out of it. Instead, right in front of the PO she says "OMG, you have to buy that truck!". Some help she was...
