Tachometer Problem
09 F-150 XLT 5.4L
Having a tachometer problem. Not sure where the feed to the tach comes from. Coil? ECM?
Sometimes it reads correctly but other times it reads really low. Like around 500 rpm when I am going down the interstate at 70 mph.
When it is malfunctioning, it will increase some with an increase in rpm but when it should be reading around 3000 rpm it is only showing about 500-1000.
