1972 Highboy, turn signal fuse blows, when heater is on
getting cold here in colorado, i turned my heater on, while the heater was going, i turned my signal on to turn and it flashed and the blew the fuse but the heater stayed blowing but my signals wouldn't work, but it only does it when the heater is turned on, so im confused on what it could be?

One should not effect the other, sounds like wires are touching somewhere and likely under the dash. You or someone is going to have to inspect and find it. Separating, adding electrical tape, is likely all that will be required, along with a new fuse.
Good luck.

Well, wear warmer clothes or get your head under the dash. I agree with Joe that you must have current from the blower motor running back into the indicator. Cracks in 45 year old wires are not a surprise.
Where I disagree is the use of electrical tape. I normally cut the wire, and put in a heat seal connector, or pull a new wire.

A headscratcher. As above, the circuits are separate so there must be some entanglement.
Do this:
Pluck the heater fuse and turn the blower on. If it goes on and the signal circuit blows you know that the heater blower is being fed from the wrong circuit.
If both blower and lights are fed from the same fuse there will be an overload.
Let us know. The problem shouldn't be too hard to find.
