302 dip stick question

Working on restoring the engine compartment on a '77 F-100 with 302/auto. The original dipstick has done a Houdini on me, and has escaped my parts bin. If I knew the correct length I can hit up a Ford buddy that has a whole passel of parts I can probably find one in. How do I go about finding an original style dipstick to work with this oil pan? Don't want to go chrome aftermarket junk.
Is there a list of what all oil dipsticks will work with this pan? Thanks.

According to the parts catalog, your truck takes dipstick tube D2OZ-6754-A, it shows that dipstick fits all 73-79 F100 & 150's with the 302. Unfortunately it doesn't give any specs on the dimensions of the tube.
I did find one place that shows they have one, C & G Ford Parts shows them in stock. $24.00 may sound expensive but the last list price from Ford was $56.75.

I won't need the tube, just the dipstick. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the list of vehicles that have the same dipstick. I didn't come up with anything from the EODZ-6750-A #

Your profile says you're in Mississippi. There are 13 Ford dealers that have one or more of the EODZ-6750-A dipstick in stock. One of them is in Mississippi.
Hallmark Ford, Batesville, MS shows one in stock (662) 563-7684.
Last dealer cost $6.89, last list price $11.48.

I don't have enough posts, or haven't been on here long enough to send private messages. Maybe I can receive messages, dunno. I sent you a visitor message. Thanks.

You must be a Ford parts man, I just called Hallmark in Batesville and got him to send it to me. I couldn't come up with anything on the internet for that #, but thanks for the heads up. I'll have that part of this project knocked out. I have a Chevy stick in there for now just to keep the hole plugged....
Now on to the front brakes so I can drive it and tune on it.
