This is why you can't w/o using a spacer put '05+ wheels on the 99-04 SD or 00-05 Excursion.

This is 1 of the best write-ups with tons of pics on flickr

I reused the factory Excursion sway bar and just moved it from the axle to the the frame but behind the axle.

Well I got the 05 bar. Was able to get it installed with the 2010 links. How ever there is very little clearance. It's actually touching on one side . I'm hoping when I set the truck down it will shift the radius arm back some . The 05 bar is larger diameter but not really that much shorter .

Did you get 05 Excursion or Super Duty away bar? I had similar issue, 05-07 Super Duty sway bar corrected it. This pic is when it was touching.

Its supposed to be a Superduty bar. I definitely could not fit those extended end links.

Edit: It is a 05-07 bar SD bar but from 2wd. I was under the impression they were interchangeable. Well I guess they are but is the 4wd bar shorter on the ends?

I just looked at my truck and it looks like 5HUB's 2nd pic (I used a complete rolling chassis, so it would definitely be a stock 4wd bar)

Ok. Thanks for the input everyone. I ordered a 4wd bar. Should have it in a few days.

I will be able to tell you soon.

Just a follow up. The 4wd bar was the fix. Had to use the 2010 end links due to bolt size. I'll have to get extended 2010 links .Also to note the 2wd bar is quite a bit smaller in diameter

The quality is better but mostly depends on shocks and springs, the turning radius is amazing and I'd do swap for that alone. Bigger brakes is a plus.

This is probably my next mod and lifting the front should be cheaper now.
