What is this?

What is this. It's leaking fuel like crazy on my 96.

That is the Fuel pump, and a common leak point. May need to just tighten the clamps back up or may need some new rubber lines. Worst case is you need a new fuel pump.

If you replace the fuel line, make sure and get the blue diesel hose. If not, you'll be doing this repair again in a few years.

Thanks for the heads up. It's leaking from the top clamp. I'm gonna have to change the whole pump.

That is a Cali pump. Make sure you get a Cali pump to replace it.

I hope that's all they sell here the pictures I found online look the same. And the parts store didn't give any other options.

There may be no difference in the pump itself. The disc looking thing may be mounted to the banjo fitting. I'm on the east coast, so I've actually never run across a Cali truck.

You're replacing the pump because a hose clamp is leaking?

It's not a hose clamp. It's the ring around the top of the pump that holds it all together.
