Fuel Leak

Ok, 95 psd if you start at the fuel bowl and go towards the cab there is 2 rubber lines that go in to a copper looking ufo thing with 2 hats, well, it's leaking underneath that piece where the rubber hoses go in to. What is that called and what is involved in the repair? Thanks in advance oh and what are the chances I'll catch on fire?

its the fuel pump and its not that hard to replace. you can hold a match to a puddle of diesel and it probably would put the match out... not saying do that but its not like gasoline either.

X2 on fuel pump.sounds like you have a Cali. model those pumps are different than the others so i don't know how much more of a PITA they are. but ours are not that bad just in a tight space.
