Speaking of that, does anyone know the range of the TPMS sensors? I found the ones I use on my 5th wheel needed a booster.
According to ETIS on my truck:
The tire pressure sensors are 315 Mhz. I would assume this means both the truck and trailer sensors. I don't know if the interface box that mounts on the trailer is just an amplifier or is it a receiver that receives the pressures and then sends the data up the 12 pin cable to the truck's computer. If that box is a receiver then the trailer may use a different frequency all together
I did a little more digging and found what I needed. Now I just have to find out what frequency the system runs off so I know which ones to order
I'm curious what you learned? My wheels (bought last Spring for my 2013) with the previous sensors worked for about 1/2 a day then havent worked since.

I read somewhere it is a receiver and memorizes the locations of the sensors then just send the data up the cable.

Did you retrain your sensors after install? I was able to get the part #'s for the sensors after I went to the website on the computer. The site doesn't work well on my IPhone
And then the debate. The TPMS is most important when hauling at or even close to capacity. A 15 lb tire pressure drop (off 80 lbs) can quickly cause a blowout when loaded and in my pea brain the fully loaded situation is the most important to monitor the tire pressure. So by reprogramming with forscan to run around at 55 lbs when mty would mean reprogramming when filling the tires back up to 80 lbs and hooking up the load. Don't know about you guys but everytime we put the camper on and get ready to head out the checklist seems to get longer and longer. Re-programming is another step which could easily be bypassed for the sake of making the launch time. I guess the programming would be that much better if just the phone or the center stack had options to set the alarms. JMHO
I have a F-450 Ultimate Lariat on order. I am reading in the standard feature list that TPMS is standard for the F-450 Lariat. Can anyone confirm?
