Read the quote just above yours the SCT X4 is a tuner.

Yes. That's what my dealer told me. Many have posted the same info on this and other forums too.

This isn't the good old days with gear driven speedos. It's all electronic.

My dealer told me that they can adjust speedometers up to the 2013 model year. 2014s and up require an aftermarket calibration.
